In October- December 2007 (Q4), the index of input prices for the construction sector overall rose to 126, approximately 3.3% above its level in Jul-Sep 2007 (Q3). In Jul-Sep 2007 (Q3), the index of input prices for the construction sector overall rose slightly to 123, approximately 3% above its level in Apr-Jun 2007 (Q2). This followed an increase of 2% in the second quarter of 2007.

Second Quarter, 2007

Release Date: Tuesday 28 August 2007

In April-June 2007 (Q2), the index of input prices for the construction sector overall rose slightly to 119, approximately 2% above its level in Jan-March 2007 (Q1).  This follows an increase of 1% in the first quarter of 2007. The index of residential buildings rose by approximately 1% to 117 from 116 and that for non-residential buildings also went up slightly to 124 from 123. The index of civil works rose by approximately 4% to 110 from 106.
